Job Summary
The Quality Engineer (QE) is responsible for establishing product quality standards, supporting new product development, monitoring trial production processes, and ensuring that products meet quality and reliability requirements.
The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to improve product quality and drive continuous improvement activities.
- Establish product quality standards and ensure compliance with company quality requirements.
- Develop product testing plans and prepare experimental outlines.
- Participate in DFMEA reviews during the new product development stage.
- Participate in new product design structure reviews.
- Conduct structural inspection of product prototypes.
- Participate in supplier evaluation of outsourced factories and guide incoming material and process quality control.
- Arrange and track experiments during product trial production.
- Collect issues during the trial production process and track improvement actions.
- Confirm the effectiveness of corrective actions implemented.
- Conduct overall product assessment and prepare new product evaluation reports.
- Prepare product inspection guidelines.
- Review and approve defective product samples.
- Provide product training to process inspection personnel.
- Complete other tasks assigned by the superior.
Education
- Associate Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or related technical field.
- Preferably Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines.
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in switch power supply or related manufacturing industry.
- Experience in project management and familiarity with quality control management techniques is preferred.
- Trained in Quality Management, Switch Power Supply Circuit Analysis, 7S, ESD, ISO 9001, QC 080000, ISO 14001, and Safety Education.
Skills
- Familiar with switch power supply circuit analysis.
- Good command of English in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication, planning, and learning abilities.
