Job Responsibilities :
Primary: PC & Network Support
- Install, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, printers, and other office IT hardware.
- Perform routine hardware troubleshooting and coordinate repair or replacement when needed.
- Support network infrastructure including routers, switches, access points, and basic cabling.
- Monitor and maintain local area network (LAN) connectivity and address connectivity issues.
- Ensure all IT hardware and endpoints are properly updated and secured.
Secondary: L1 Application Support
- Provide Level 1 support for in-house systems used in dormitory and foreign worker management (e.g., login issues, system errors, password resets).
- Log and track user-reported issues; escalate unresolved problems to Level 2 or development teams.
- Assist in user training and create simple documentation (e.g., user guides, FAQs).
- Monitor application usage and system availability.
- Assist with software installations and updates on user machines.
- Maintain IT inventory records for hardware, software, and licenses.
- Ensure regular system backups and basic data recovery readiness.
- Participate in IT projects, deployments, and improvement initiatives as assigned.
Job Requirements :
Education:
- Diploma, Advanced / Higher Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Internship or part-time experience in IT support will be a plus.
Skills & Attributes:
- Good understanding of computer hardware, software and basic networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, IP, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Operating system, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing and Programming / Coding.
- Willingness to learn new systems and tools.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently when required.
- Willing to support users on-site and respond to hardware or system issues promptly.
