Job Responsibilities :
- Repair or replace damaged fixtures (lights, switches, sockets, doors, locks, hinges, ceiling boards, etc.).
- Perform routine inspections to identify and resolve issues related to electrical systems, plumbing, and general building facilities.
- Attend and respond to repair requests for basic electrical faults, plumbing leaks, clogged drains, damaged fittings, and other building-related defects.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for repairs or projects that require specialist work.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on essential building equipment (e.g., pumps, lighting, basic HVAC components).
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repair logs, and parts usage.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and report any hazardous conditions.
- Able to lead and guide the team by allocating tasks and monitoring downline staff in their daily operations.
- Support improvement projects to enhance the building’s overall upkeep and efficiency.
- Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the superior from time to time.
Job Requirements :
- College or Vocational Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Maintenance, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in building or facility maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose common facility issues.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Physically fit and able to perform hands-on repair tasks.
- Willing to work overtime or on standby if required.
